Multidistrict litigation (MDL) is a federal legal procedure created to speed the process of handling complex cases that affect hundreds or even thousands of plaintiffs in multiple federal courts who share common issues (if they meet the proper criteria). These cases could be consolidated under MDL to proceed in one court for such a case.

Our firm has experience with MDL cases including the representation of hemophiliacs who contracted AIDS from defective Factor 8 blood products produced by Bayer Corporation contaminated with the HIV virus. This product is needed to control bleeding and prevent death.  We were selected to try the first case that went to trial after several years of discovery.  After a seven-week trial, we won a large verdict for the family of the young man who lost his life as a result of this defective medical product. Our attorneys have occupied leadership positions in cases involving personal injuries resulting from many other causes as well
